PAYING FOR EKAR TRIPS
HOW DO I PAY FOR EKAR TRIPS?
You will be charged automatically on the card which has been updated while registration or the most recent updated card. We also offer Apple Pay and will soon add Google Pay to our payment options for your convenience.
An additional AED 1 will be charged for an amount less than AED 10. 10% on amounts greater than 10 with a cap of AED 50 maximum for any declined transactions, which will apply on the second try.
DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR ROAD TOLLS/SALIK?
All toll and salik charges incurred during your reservation will be charged to your account @AED 5.25 per crossing. All ekars are registered for toll with RTA (Dubai) & DARB (Abu Dhabi). Additionally, anyone found tampering with the tags is subject to penalties.
ARE PREPAID TRIPS REFUNDABLE?
No, all prepaid trips are non-refundable.
WILL I BE REFUNDED IF I RETURN THE EKAR EARLY OR DON'T UTILIZE THE FULL BOOKING?
No, there are no refunds in these cases.
