Parking and Fuel

1. IS FUEL FREE?

For all bookings in Dubai & Abu Dhabi, users will have to cover the fuel cost as it's not free.

2. WHICH TYPE OF FUEL SHOULD I USE?

You should use Special fuel for all our cars.

3. HOW MUCH FUEL SHOULD I LEAVE IN THE EKAR WHEN I END MY TRIP?

For all vehicles, please take images of the odometer and fuel gauge at the start and end of the trip. Make sure to end the trip with the same fuel level to avoid the penalty of the actual fuel deficit plus the AED 50 ekar admin fee.

4. WHAT SHOULD BE THE DRIVING RANGE IN TESLA VEHICLES AT THE END OF THE TRIP?

Tesla cars should be left within a minimum driving range of 50 km to the nearest charging station to avoid the non-charging penalty of AED 150.

5. IS PARKING FREE?

Vehicles In Dubai

You are responsible to pay for all parking during your Rental. Also, please inform us about the parking at the end of the trip. You can notify us via the app, email, or over the phone.

Ending the trip is not allowed in the following areas:

Gated Communities

Malls

Underground/Basement/Private parking

Unpaved Sandy parking areas

Jebel Ali

JAFZA

DAFZA

Dragon Mart

I, J, E & L zones of RTA

DWC 

Industrial City

Outside Geofence

Airports

In case the trip has ended in any of the above locations, an unauthorized parking penalty of AED 150 will be levied.

Vehicles in Abu Dhabi

Parking is free for all vehicles under the daily booking in standard Mawaqif non-residential parking dedicated bays only. In case if the car is booked on a weekly booking and further extended, the parking will not be free.

Ending the trip is not allowed in the following areas:

Mawaqif Premium Parking

Mawaqif Residential Parking

Mawaqif Villa Parking

Gated Communities

Malls 

Underground/Basement Parking/Private parking

Unpaved Sandy parking areas

Outside the Geofence

Airports

In case the trip has ended in any of the above locations, an unauthorized parking penalty of AED 150 will be levied.

Tesla Dubai (Carshare)

EV-designated Parking is not free for electric vehicles in Dubai except for the EV-designated parking bays with a maximum limit of 4 hours only. You are also responsible for paying for all parking during your trip in an ekar Rental. Also, please inform us about the parking at the end of the trip to avoid any fines. You can notify us via the app, email, or over the phone.

Please ensure to end the reservation in any RTA parking zone except I, J, E & L or open free paved parking within the defined geofence.

You can charge the vehicle at any Tesla dedicated charging station, and at the end of the reservation, the vehicle should be left with a minimum of 50 kms driving range to avoid any penalty.

Note:

Due to security reasons, leaving the vehicle near the embassies/consulate is not allowed by the authorities. Hence, it's the user's responsibility to ensure that the car is parked in the standard mawaqif parking area or any other RTA zone within the geofence. In case the vehicle is impounded or any fine is issued, the same will be charged to the user who ended the trip.

Ending the trip in different emirates is not allowed
