Ending your Trip

HOW DO I END MY TRIP?

End your trip by parking the ekar in one of the designated parking areas that are free for ekar users.
Select the ‘end trip’ option in the ekar app and return the key to the glove box or cup holder before you exit the vehicle.

Enter the parking details through the app while ending the trip or send an email at help@ekar.me and lock the car through the app. Remember to take all your belongings.

For Long-Term booking, e-mail us at help@ekar.me with the pictures of the odometer and fuel gauge reading before and after your trip. Please ensure that the fuel at the same level that you received before you end your trip as the fuel is not free.

You are responsible for parking fees during your trip. Send us the parking details either through the app or by email at help@ekar.me and lock the car through the app at the end of your trip.

WHAT DO I DO IF I AM UNABLE TO END MY TRIP AS PER THE BOOKING PERIOD?

If you are unable to end your trip, please call us at 600 567564 for assistance. In case your trip did not end on time, it will extend automatically, and additional rental charges will apply.

WHY IS MY BOOKING STILL ACTIVE?

If the trip did not end from the app, the booking remains active. The rental will continue to be charged unless the booking is ended.

Is it allowed to end the trip in different Emirates?

No, it's not allowed to end the trip in a different emirate. In case the trip is ended, there will be a penalty of AED 500.

Will my booking be converted into weekly if I use it for more than 5 days?

No, the daily booking will not be converted into a weekly booking automatically.

How will the mileage be calculated for monthly bookings in case of any extension?

In case, the mileage is exceeded, the over mileage charges will be applied on the 30th Day of the reservation. At the time of extension, the previous mileage will reset, and based on the extension period, the new mileage will be applied.
