HOW DO I START MY TRIP?


After making a successful booking, you have 30 minutes to reach the vehicle. You need to take pictures of any scratches or damages on the ekar and upload the photos to the app.

You can unlock the vehicle by scanning the QR code located on the driver or passenger window and click on the key which will appear on the app. You will find the key in the glove box or the cup holder.

Once you retrieve the key, you’re ready to start the engine and start driving.


 


HOW DO I UNLOCK MY EKAR?


To unlock your ekar, open the ekar app and select 'scan QR code'.
You will find the physical QR code as a sticker on both the driver and passenger windows.
Click on the key which will appear on the ekar app to unlock the vehicle. This process may take up to 3-5 seconds, depending on network signal strength. A communication problem or long delay can cause a booking failure.

Mileage depends on the vehicle and rate you chose at the beginning of your booking. For all the specific mileage rates, check out the rates section for each ekar car type either on the app or the website.
