WHAT IS THE EKAR WALLET?
The ekar wallet is an online wallet that you can load up with credit. All future trips will be charged from your ekar wallet instead of your debit or credit card.
WHY SHOULD I USE THE EKAR WALLET?
Your credit or debit card is charged AED 2.5 payment gateway fee for every ekar trip transaction.
Save time and money using the ekar wallet. Once the credits are purchased, costs of your future trips will be charged from your ekar wallet and not directly from your credit or debit card.
WHAT ARE EKAR CREDITS?
ekar credits can be money you loaded into your ekar wallet from your debit or credit card, or it can be credit value you gained through ekar.

HOW LONG ARE EKAR CREDITS VALID FOR?
There is no expiration of the credits purchased through the e-wallet option. However, for special promotions, valid dates will vary and will be communicated along with the promo.
CAN I PAY FOR TICKETS, SALIK OR FINES WITH EKAR CREDITS?
If credits were purchased through the ekar e-wallet, incurred fines, salik, and tickets will be adjusted. However, this does not apply to promo credits or credits offered as reimbursements.
HOW DO I APPLY PROMO CODES?
Go to the navigation menu in the ekar app and select 'Apply Promo Code'. Enter your promo code and hit 'Apply". The promo code will be added as credits in your ekar wallet.
DO I GET A PARTIAL REFUND IF I DON'T USE ALL THE CREDITS IN THE WALLET?
No, ekar wallet credits are non-refundable.
